Numeracy/Mathematics
We focus on students to develop their mathematical fluency, gaining confidence in numeracy and other mathematical skills. Our aim is to ensure that students understand reasoning and acknowledge the importance of mathematics.
In our lessons, we encourage children to apply mathematics to both routine and non-routine problems, including breaking down complicated problems into simpler steps.
KEY STAGE 1 AND 2 Literacy

Literacy/English
Our tutors aim to develop students’ vocabulary, reading, writing and spoken language. Fluency in English Language is an essential foundation for success in all subjects, according to the National Curriculum.
We encourage children to read accurately by blending sounds, and helping them to develop skills to read and write accurately.
It is vital for children that they understand the meanings of words they come across in their day to day reading.
KEY STAGE 3 AND 4
Key Stage 3 relates to children aged 11 to 14, Years 7 to 9.
Key Stage 4 relates to children aged 15 to 16, Years 10 and 11, which incorporate GCSEs.
Here, each subject is taught in greater depth by subject specialists.
In both Key Stage 3 and 4, the key subjects taught are English, Maths, and Science.
Our specialist tutors are experts in teaching their subjects in-depth, preparing the students for their most important exams.
We also target termly assessments and mock exams to track progress regularly.
ADVANCED A-LEVEL
A-Level courses are very crucial subject-based qualifications for admission to the university. Their grades are recognised by employers globally.
A-Level consists of AS Level and A2 Level. These are 2-year courses, which could be linear or modular combined counting for 100% of the final A-Level grades.
We offer intense one-to-one as well as small group tuition to allow extra focus on the subjects being taught.
