Literacy/English
Our tutors aim to develop students’ vocabulary, reading, writing and spoken language. Fluency in English Language is an essential foundation for success in all subjects, according to the National Curriculum.
We encourage children to read accurately by blending sounds, and helping them to develop skills to read and write accurately.
It is vital for children that they understand the meanings of words they come across in their day to day reading.
